1) Biodiversity students and professionals

Online course

We have created an e-learning course ‘Certificate in Middle Eastern Biodiversity and Conservation’. This is being run in partnership with the University of Sulaimani. The course is now running for the second year and has had over 60 successful participants.

Practical field training

Staff from Nature Iraq and International experts have also been delivering a series of practical field training courses as part for the project. You can find out more about some of these by looking at out news section.

2) Communities

The Darwin team has been working in schools around the Peramagroon area delivering a series of environmental awareness activities. These activities are being developed into a series of easy to use activity sheets for teachers to use in schools. You can read more about some of the activities in our news section.
